September/October 2021. Finishing the libretto for a new children's musical about the Kindertransport with music by Grace Oberhofer. (Stay tuned for more information).
July/August 2021. Performances for Seussical the Musical. Huzzah for live theatre! Show runs from July 23 - August 7 as a state-wide tour throughout Vermont. All performances are outdoors and free.
April — July 2021. Pre-production and rehearsals for an outdoor production of Seussical the Musical by Lynn Ahrens & Stephen Flaherty at Weston Playhouse. Production stars Weston's Young Company (or YoCo).
December 2020. Directing six short plays for The Shortest of Plays for the Shortest of Days at Luna Stage. More Zoom theatre!
March — December 2020. Covid-19. Hosting Zoom readings for plays like The Oresteia by Ellen McLaughlin, The Lady from the Sea by Henrik Ibsen, Passion Play by Sarah Ruhl and The Last Days of Judas Iscariot by Stephen Adly Guirgis.
February/March 2020. Associate Director for Timon of Athens transfer to Shakespeare Theatre Company in Washington, D.C.
December 2019/January 2020. Associate Director for Timon of Athens at Theatre for a New Audience in Brooklyn's cultural district. Production is directed by powerhouse classical director Simon Godwin and stars Olivier-Award winning Kathryn Hunter in the title role.
September/October 2019. Writing a one-act play about Typhoid Mary. (Stay tuned....)
July/August 2019. Teaching dramatic interpretation and public speaking to middle-school students in Shanghai, China. The program, LearningLeaders, is led by Michael Hague.
July 2019. Eight performances of A Doll's House: A New Opera at Corkscrew Festival in New York's downtown. Music direction by Robert Frost, starring Kristin Renee Young as Nora, Elijah Graham as Torvald, and Yessenia Rivas as principal dancer. Production ran July 12 - 22nd.
May 2019. Concert performance of A Doll's House: A New Opera at the Rites of Spring Festival in Jamesport, Long Island.
April 2019. Directing the rehearsal process for A Doll's House: A New Opera.
February/March 2019. Teach playwriting in high school classrooms in rural Vermont through Weston Playhouse and its "young playwrights" program.
January 2019. Casting six singers and one dancer for A Doll's House: A New Opera, composed by Grace Oberhofer.
December 2018. Directing a workshop of Another Mikado at Primary Stages for a small invited audience. Japanese translations by Kaori Eda, and produced by Veronica Shea at Primary Stages.
December 2018. Directing another private industry reading of the new musical Sabina. Book by Willy Holtzman based on his play (Hearts, Pulitz. Prize nom.), lyrics by Darrah Cloud, music by Louise Beach, at Michiko Studios.
November/December 2018. Directing a sexually-charged production of Twelfth Night, featuring a live string band, with the No Name Collective. Original folk music by Adele McAllister, with arrangements by Lukas Papenfusscline and Tallie Gabriel. Production ran at the Alchemical Theatre from December 6 - 9th.
October/November 2018. Assistant directing a workshop of Dragon Spring Phoenix Rise with The Shed, which premiered as part of their inaugural season. Direction by Shi-Zheng Chen, choreography by Akram Kahn, music by SIA, mixing by ARCA. Production took place in the summer of 2019 at The Shed's new permanent home at Hudson Yards.
September 2018. Directing a closed workshop of Twelfth Night with the No Name Collective, run by Annaliese Kirby and Maggie Hood, and casting a production of the same.
August 2018. Directing another closed workshop of Another Mikado at Primary Stages.
August 2018. Director for special networking event at the Dramatists Guild National Conference.
August 2018. Performing as Romeo in Dreamers Often Lie, a queer adaptation of Romeo and Juliet by Lukas Papenfusscline and directed by Nick O'Leary. Production ran at The Brick's "Shakespeare in the Theatre" Festival from August 6 - 15th.
July 2018. Writing, adapting and directing the site-specific, historical Rebels v. Tories at Fairfield historic town green. Work commissioned and produced by the Fairfield Museum and History Center. Production ran July 7th & 8th.
June/July 2018. Directing the world premiere surreal, dark comedy The End of Mermaids by Anya Richkind at Paradise Factory Theatre in the Lower East Side. Produced by AC Pictures at the Corkscrew Theatre Festival. Production ran July 12 - 22nd.
May/June 2018. Directing the world premiere drama What Happened That Night by Lia Romeo at the IRT Theatre in Greenwich Village. Produced by Project Y's "Women in Theatre" Festival. Production ran June 6 - 25th.
April/May 2018. Directing the world premiere musical production of Single Rider by Amanda D’Archangelis and Sami Horneff at the Players Theatre in Greenwich Village. Choreography by Sarah Crane, music supervision by Anthony Brindisi and music direction by Jonathan Bauerfeld. Produced by Kelly Mackenzie Productions LLC. Production ran May 11 - June 17th.
April 2018. Directing a workshop of Another Mikado with the Ridgewood Gilbert & Sullivan Society.
March 2018. Directing the first workshop of Jess Honovich's Super Play, based on interviews with pre-school students about superheroes, through the Laboratory for Jewish Culture (LABA) at the 14th Street Y.
February—April 2018. Writing Another Mikado, an adaptation of The Mikado commissioned by the Ridgewood Gilbert & Sullivan Society.

September 2017. Special Guest Presenter at the New York Innovative Theatre Awards, presenting in the category of Best Director (awarded to Morgan Green for Minor Character: Six Translations of Uncle Vanya at the Same Time).
September 2017. Directing Jessica Albano’s ten-minute play Storm Shelter at The Barrow Group.
August 2017. Directing one-week workshop of Lia Romeo’s What Happened with Rising Sun Performance Company on Governor’s Island.
August 2017. Participating in four-day theatre intensive The 24 Hour Plays: Nationals. Master artists included Max Posner and Renee Blinkwolt. Additionally, directed Shara Feit's new ten-minute play Flights.
June/July 2017. Participating in the Lincoln Center Directors Lab. Master artists included Rachel Chavkin, Geoff Sobelle, Peter and Ella Schumann (Bread & Puppet), Pam McKinnon, Bartlett Sher, and Andre Bishop.
February—April 2017. Assistant directing J.T. Rogers’ Oslo (dir. Bartlett Sher) on Broadway at Lincoln Center’s Vivian Beaumont Theater. Production received the Tony Award for Best Play and for Best Featured Actor, as well as Tony Nominations for Best Leading Actress, Best Leading Actor, Best Scenic Design, Best Lighting Design, and Best Direction.
January/February 2017. Travels to India and Indonesia for studies in puppetry with the Tholpavakoothu Puppet Centre in Kerala, the Kathputli Colony in Rajasthan, and various wayang kulit puppeteers in Bali.
November/December 2016. Co-directing/acting in Sybil Kempson’s The Secret Death of Puppets at Jefferson Market Library in the West Village and Standard Toykraft in Brooklyn. Co-Director Lukas Papenfusscline.
September/October 2016. Directing third workshop of Grace Oberhofer’s A Doll’s House: A New Opera through the “That’s What She Said” series at Central Square Theater in Boston. The piece received an additional grant from the Powell Family Foundation to fund this iteration.
May — August 2016. Assistant directing the world premiere of J.T. Rogers’ Oslo (dir. Bartlett Sher) off-Broadway at Lincoln Center Theater’s Mitzi E. Newhouse Theater. Production received the Obie Award, Drama League Award, Drama Critics’ Circle Award, Drama Desk Award, Outer Critics’ Circle Award, and Lucille Lortel Award for Best Play.
February 2016. Directing second workshop of Grace Oberhofer’s A Doll’s House: A New Opera at The Tank in NYC.
January 2016. Assistant directing and stage managing the repertory productions of Hedda Gabler (dir. Kevin Hollenbeck) and Creditors (dir. Caitlin White) with Bottom’s Dream NYC.

June 2015. Directing/devising PRIDE with the apprentice ensemble at Gloucester Stage Company in celebration of LGBT Pride Month.
May-December 2015. Inaugural Directing Apprentice at Gloucester Stage Company, Massachusetts, under the artistic direction of Robert Walsh.
May 2015. Directing first workshop production of Grace Oberhofer’s A Doll’s House: A New Opera at Tufts University. The piece was funded by the Schwartz-Paddock Family Fellowship, and received the Mabel Daniel Prize in Arts & Literature.
